A background for an animation I'm working on. Trying a few new things for this animation, as it's more of a showcase of what I can do. Expect this animation before my birthday.

What I like about these scenery pictures of yours is that they showcase depth and detail which a lot of cartoonists don't bother delving into. Backgrounds in most cases are just as important as the characters they're set in so it really gives the viewer some better insight and understanding into what the environment is like. Well illustrated, from front to back.

Thanks, but don't expect this background style often. It was done mainly because the animation it's for is meant to be a showcase of my absolute best ability. Not to say by doing other stuff I'm being lazy, but most of the time I think a different style works better.

That's always cool, and actually it does go without saying your backgrounds usually encompass quite a level of detail and perspective. The different styles you possess leaves you with a great opportunity to choose which ones better sui different kinds of pictures.
